FACT OF THE DAY
🤔 There are about 70,000 AI companies worldwide—with about 25% of them based in the US—and over 115M companies are currently using AI to help them improve productivity and increase efficiency.
⬆️ Inflation data came in, in-line with expectations at 2.7% Y/Y. This news caused the market to continue to rally aggressively to the upside with the Nasdaq continuing to fresh all-time highs. Google continued to outperform gaining over 5% for the second straight day. Learn more.
Our Report: Google has unveiled an onslaught of new features, tools, and updates, including Gemini 2.0 which can “generate audio and images” (as well as text), and brings new “multimodal capabilities” that are powering its “next big thing: AI agents,” which it demonstrated via the (beta) launch of its first AI agent—Project Mariner—which can navigate the web autonomously.
🔑 Key Points:
The Gemini 2.0-powered agent can independently move the cursor and click buttons, allowing it to complete tasks like filling out forms, adding items to a shopping cart, finding flights and hotels, and surfacing recipes.
It’s been released to testers, who say it’s slow—taking 5 seconds between each cursor movement—and just works on active Chrome tabs, meaning users can’t do anything but watch the agent (slowly) working.
Google says this was intentional, so users know what the agent is doing, as was the decision to not allow it to accept cookies, sign terms of service agreements, or complete payments, giving users more control.
🤔 Why you should care: While users could find it frustrating to watch the agent slowly click around their screen adding items to their grocery cart or finding a recipe for lasagna—after all, with 5 seconds between each cursor movement, they could probably complete these tasks much quicker, themselves—website owners may benefit, as it means users will be ‘forced’ to visit and view their webpages, although with the current rate of AI advancement, these agents may not need human intervention, at all meaning eventually, users will not need to visit or view their websites.

Our Report: Google sees “2025 as the true start of the AI agent era” and, alongside Project Mariner, revealed three other “experimental” AI agents that, rather than completing general tasks autonomously, have been built for specific jobs: Deep research, coding, and video gaming.
🔑 Key Points:
Deep Research completes multi-step reasoning to answer lengthy or difficult questions—like OpenAI’s, o1—although it does take a few minutes, and can’t solve math/logical reasoning problems.
Jules—although in ‘early development’ and ‘may make mistakes’—integrates into the developer platform, GitHub, views code, and suggests multistep plans to fix coding issues (similar to Microsoft's GitHub Copilot).
Google is working with game developers to build its last agent (still WIP, with no release date) that will understand the rules of video games and give players “suggestions on what to do next, in real-time.”
🤔 Why you should care: Although Google has joined the AI agent race—competing alongside OpenAI, Anthropic, and others—groundbreaking AI agents that can “understand more about the world around you, think multiple steps ahead, and complete tasks on your behalf, with your supervision,” are still unpredictable, after Anthropic recently admitted that its AI agent “suddenly took a break” from a coding demo and “began to peruse photos of Yellowstone”—and many (understandably) will not handle sensitive data, like account details meaning, despite the hype, they’re not yet ready to take over the world, at mass-market scale.
TOGETHER WITH MODEMOBILE
No, it’s not NVIDIA… It's Mode Mobile: Last year's fastest-growing software company, according to Deloitte.
Mode’s disruptive $martphone has already helped consumers secure and save $325M+ through simple, everyday use. That led to 32,481% revenue growth between 2019 and 2022 and presence in 170+ countries.
They are disrupting a market worth over $1 trillion and Walmart and Best Buy are already distributing their EarnPhone.
They've just secured their Nasdaq ticker $MODE and you can still invest in their pre-IPO offering and secure up to 2X extra stock.

For the fifth day of its “12 Days of OpenAI,” campaign, OpenAI rolled out the ChatGPT/iPhone integration—as part of Apple’s iOS 18.2 update—which brings ChatGPT capabilities to Siri, writing tools, and camera features.
Now, if Siri can’t answer a question, it will default to ChatGPT (after asking for user permission), and users can also create text and images, from scratch, using ChatGPT/DALL-E, via Apple’s ‘Writing Tools’ feature.
ChatGPT will also power a ‘Visual Intelligence’ camera feature which, once the camera is pointed at something, will give users information about what they’re looking at and also sumamrize text, or translate copy.
Microsoft’s CEO of AI—Mustafa Suleyman (co-founder of Inflection and Google’s DeepMind)—has hired multiple DeepMind staff to help run a new consumer-focused AI health division.
Dominic King, the ex-head of DeepMind’s own AI health unit, will head up Microsoft's new team (as VP), and Christopher Kelly—DeepMind research scientist—and 2 other DeepMind research scientists will join him.
With over 48% of the public turning to AI chatbots, like ChatGPT, for health-related help, the new division will develop AI-powered health-related applications to address this demand for online health information.
