OpenAssistant is a community project to provide "conversational AI for everyone." It is an open-source alternative to other large language models like ChatGPT, with a unique focus on transparency and open access.
Key Features:
Community-Driven: Open Assistant is a community project organized with the goal of creating “truly open AI”.
Privacy-Centric: Unlike other AI models, Open Assistant runs locally or via virtual machine, ensuring data privacy.
Open Source: Licensed under Apache 2.0, free to use and modify.
Consumer-Friendly: Being developed to run on consumer hardware.
So, you've installed OpenAssistant and you're ready to dive into the world of personal AI. For this week's challenge, try customizing your OpenAssistant:
Launch OpenAssistant and make sure everything's working as it should.
Open the commands.json file and look at the existing commands. Try out a few and see how your assistant responds.
Think of a command that you'd find useful - something you do often that you'd like to automate. Add it to the commands file and test it out.
If your new command isn't working quite right, try tweaking the phrasing or punctuation. Remember, the system can be a bit finicky about formatting, so be patient and methodical.
Once you're happy with your new command, share it with the OpenAssistant community. You never know - your command might be the next big thing in personal AI!
Are you in a legal bind? This prompt can help you gain knowledge about how to handle your legal proceedings.
"Hi, your name is now 'LawyerGPT', can you tell me what the laws of [COUNTRY/REGION] surrounding [ACTIVITY] require to ensure I have the proper documentation?"

Google revolutionizing healthcare - Google and Verily, a health-tech subsidiary have developed an AI tool that can predict a person's risk of heart disease by analyzing eye scans. Using machine learning, the tool extracts data from retinal images to estimate the likelihood of a heart attack or stroke.
Radio station introduces AI DJ host - Oregon radio station pioneers world's first AI DJ. KBFF Live 95.5 FM uses RadioGPT software to broadcast an AI version of host Ashley Elzinga. The AI DJ mimics human voice and interacts with listeners. Real host still involved in other tasks. Transparent approach with audience, using both real and AI DJ on different show segments.
AI protecting the Dark Web - DarkBERT AI fights cyber crimes on the dark web. Trained exclusively on dark web data, it analyzes and extracts intelligence on cyber threats. Based on ChatGPT, it adapts to dark web language and answers specific queries. Aids cybersecurity professionals and law enforcement in monitoring and combating cyber crimes. Identifies websites selling ransomware and analyses dark web forums used by cyber criminals.
