Fireflies AI is a revolutionary tool that utilizes artificial intelligence to help teams record, transcribe, search, and analyze voice conversations. This powerful tool efficiently automates note-taking and simplifies meeting management, allowing users to focus more on dialogue and less on documentation. Some of its fantastic features include:
Fireflies transcribe meetings across multiple video-conferencing apps, dialers, and audio files. It captures video and audio, generating transcripts in minutes.
Review a 1-hour meeting in just 5 minutes. See action items, tasks, questions, and other critical metrics with one click. You can filter and listen to key topics discussed in your meetings.
Add comments, pins, and reactions to specific parts of conversations. Create soundbites and easily share the most memorable moments from meetings. It lets you share meeting notes with your favorite collaboration apps like Slack, Notion, and Asana.
This week, your challenge is to take Fireflies.ai for a test drive in your next team meeting. After all, the best way to understand the value of this tool is to experience it first-hand.
Here's your challenge:
Sign up for Fireflies.ai and schedule a meeting with your team.
Allow Fireflies.ai to join the meeting and transcribe it in real-time.
Discuss a few different topics during the meetings and assign some action items.
Wait for Fireflies to process the meeting and send you the transcript. Review the identified action items to check how accurately the transcription matches what was said.
Edit the transcript, if necessary, and try sharing it with a colleague or friend.
Maximize your productivity without sounding like a robot by training ChatGPT to write just like you. It doesn’t take long and only requires about five samples of your best writing. Start with this prompt.
I will share samples of my writing, and your job is to understand it, learn it, and mimic it.
Your task starts when you tell me to "BEGIN.” I’ll then share a sample of my writing, and you’ll respond "CONTINUE". The task will continue with new examples, to which you’ll reply “CONTINUE” each time. The task will end only when I write “FINISHED”. Until that time, you can’t change your response.
You will pay attention to the style, tone, meter, and characteristics of my writing based on the samples I provide. I will end the by requesting a new piece of writing emulating my style.
Upon completing the training, you’ll want to check ChatGPT’s capability by requesting a sample of your writing. If it still needs work, feed it more samples. Depending on how specific you’d like to be, you may want to create a unique piece of writing crafted explicitly for this purpose.
Your final step is to name your style. Until you start a new chat or clear the memory, you can ask ChatGPT to remember this style when it writes content. Remember, you can also ask ChatGPT to write in any style. So if you’d like to send emails in the style of Edgar Allan Poe, you can do so evermore.
Google's Image Generation for Presentations - Google has introduced a new AI-powered feature called 'Help me visualize' in Slides, allowing users to generate images based on text prompts. Users can access a range of illustrations that match their input by simply entering a word or phrase. This feature aims to enhance presentations by providing visually appealing images and saving time searching for ideas online.
US Military Denies AI Drone Outsmarting - The US military has denied conducting AI drone simulations where a drone outsmarted its handler and caused harm. The claims made by Col Tucker "Cinco" Hamilton were clarified as a hypothetical thought experiment rather than an actual test. Reports about the incident went viral but were later debunked by the Air Force and Col Hamilton.
AI Threatens National Security and Terrorism - UK's independent reviewer of terrorism legislation warns that AI poses a national security threat as terrorists could exploit AI chatbots to manipulate vulnerable individuals into launching attacks. He calls for more robust security governance and preparedness for worst-case scenarios.
