🧠 News: AI.com officially redirects to XAI
Read Time: 4 minutes
Our Report: The AI dot com domain, which used to redirect to ChatGPT, now leads users to Elon Musk's xAI. So, who actually owns the domain?
🔑 Key Points:
AI.com was a shortcut to ChatGPT, but now redirects users to xAI, a separate entity from Elon Musk's X Corp.
The domain had previously changed ownership in 2021, with OpenAI hinted as the possible buyer.
xAI has no available products yet, but Musk has made statements about its bold ambitions—”To understand the universe”
Efforts to discern the true owner of AI.com through domain lookup services have been futile as the information remains anonymous.
Was OpenAI hacked or did Elon Musk acquire the domain?
🤨 Why you should care: This change was all but swept under the rug as curious Twitter users raised the alarm. So what does this mean? Has Musk officially acquired the domain? Are Musk & OpenAI in cahoots?
Only time will tell.

The Eisenhower prompt—great for scheduling.
“I’m a X who needs help building tomorrow’s schedule. I have to respond to X emails, X of which are urgent. I also need to write, proofread, and submit an article tomorrow by 5 p.m. At 12 p.m. I have a one-hour call with a client. I’d also like a 30-minute lunch break and some time to exercise. Using the Eisenhower Method, build me a schedule. ”
The AI News Prompt—great for summarization.
“I want you to find the top 5 stories covering Artificial Intelligence in the past 24 hours. Only include links from reputable resources & rank results based on popularity"

Meta (what we all still call Facebook) has introduced an open-source AI tool, AudioCraft, allowing users to create music from text prompts.
Bundled with three models, the tool covers music, sound, compression, and generation. The model was trained on over 400,000 audio samples & 20,000 songs. How will the creative industry respond?
Google has enhanced its AI-powered search by adding contextual images and videos.
Announced during May's I/O conference, the feature now showcases related visuals in the search suggestion box based on user queries. Users can test these features via Search Labs and access them on Google's app or Chrome.
YouTube is testing AI-generated video summaries to help users decide what to watch, although the summaries are limited to certain English videos and users. They won't replace human-written descriptions, instead they’ll provide a brief video overview.
